Point # 1 – Christian, don’t be deceived: Christ’s final coming has yet to occur (1-2).

Point # 2 - Christian, don’t be deceived: the final apostasy and coming of Antichrist must precede Christ’s advent (3-4).

· “Temple of God” or “God’s temple” texts: 1 Cor. 3:16-17; 2 Cor. 6:16.
· “Sitting” texts: Mt. 23:2; 26:64; Heb. 1:3

Point # 3 Christian, don’t be deceived: beware of the “already here/ not yet come” Antichrist (5-12).

a) Though Antichrist hasn’t come physically, he can still deceive spiritually (6-7).
b) Remember earlier taught truths and you won’t be deceived. Don’t be deceived now and you will avoid judgment later (5; 8-12).
