Sunday School: Haggai

June 10, 2018 Preacher: Alex Bloomfield Series: Sunday School: The Minor, Minor Prophets

Passage: Haggai 1:1– 2:23

The Big Picture of Haggai, from a New Covenant Christian’s Perspective:

Seek first God’s Kingdom, Christian, and the blessings of the covenant will be yours. Remember that he is a God who by grace has chosen to dwell amongst his people throughout history, and the glory of his final, consummated temple will be greater still. Remember also that we cannot clean ourselves, for we are defiled, but by the grace of God he has saved us through his faithfulness to the Davidic line, by the death of Zerubbabel’s greater son, Jesus.
