Big Picture: The song of the heavenly multitude is the God-ordained commentary on the preceding announcement of the birth of Jesus. It teaches us that Jesus’ incarnation has two results in two locations:

1. Glory given in Heaven… to God alone.

2. Peace given on Earth… effective for God’s people alone.
