The message of Ecclesiastes: fear God in order to turn a vain, empty life into a meaningful life that will enjoy God’s good gifts, and to escape the final judgment.
Wisdom literature is concerned with wise actions which integrate people harmoniously into the order God has created. Wisdom is concerned with the general order and patterns of living in God’s creation.
Epistemology: a branch of philosophy that investigates the origin, nature, methods, and limits of human knowledge; the theory of knowledge; how we know what we know.
