October 26, 2025 Preacher: John Bell Series: The Pastoral Epistles

Passage: 2 Timothy 4:6–22

  1. Timothy must faithfully “discharge all the duties of his ministry” because Paul is already at the point of death (6-8)
    1. “I am already being poured out like a drink offering.”
    2. “The time for my departure is near.”
    3. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
    4. The “crown of righteousness” awaits.

2. The Pauline Circle: who does the Lord use to advance his kingdom? (9-22)
